  Just a quick scroll through FB proves these words to be truth. 1Tim. 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. I can’t count how many times I have lost track of the excuses that different people use to twist scripture or to invalidate it. I know the urge to confront, argue with what they say and try to prove that they are wrong. You do this if you like but I think that it might be more productive to read and do verse 5. “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” Took me a while to really understand these 2 Proverbs. Observation

  The more that I observe behavior the more I see that the things that we hate about others most often are the things we hate about ourselves. It is just easier to punish others than ourselves.
