Just a quick scroll through FB proves these words to be truth.
1Tim. 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
I know the urge to confront, argue with what they say and try to prove that they are wrong. You do this if you like but I think that it might be more productive to read and do verse 5. “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
Took me a while to really understand these 2 Proverbs.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
But he who heeds counsel is wise.
Proverbs 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Lot less stress in my life to stop arguing with fools and instead make sure that I am not being a fool myself.
Like it or not everyone has the God given right to choose whatever they want but they also get to reap the results of their choice.
